When I first created TheRedSunflower.com in 2017, I had no idea what it would become.
What began as a daring passion project grew into a robust and efficient money-making machine. And while The Red Sunflower is a machine, I definitely am not.
January 9, 2025 marks 5 years of Red Sunflower, Inc.
For most of this time, Red Sunflower, Inc. has been a one woman show. I’ve been the company’s sales person, web developer, accountant, flower farmer, social media manager, and have served in countless other roles. As much as I’ve enjoyed bringing my ideas to life, the stress and the pressure of doing it all has taken a toll on me.
To protect my mental health, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from the day-to-day operations of Red Sunflower, Inc.
Make no mistake– I am still ten toes down for The Red Sunflower. I will continue to perform the vital administrative tasks that we haven’t already automated, but I will not be consulting on Client projects.
A strong company can’t be dependent on a single person. That’s why we continually cultivate new technology consultants through Code Camp by The Red Sunflower. Their fresh perspectives and passion for sustainable technology will continue pushing this company forward. I may have quit my day job, but our clients will continue to receive the courteous and professional technology consulting services they’ve come to expect.
I am retiring to the flower farm where I will serve as a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer.
These days all I can think about are planting sunflowers and sharing them with others. Are you interested in joining me on the flower farm? Find opportunities at RedSunflowerInc.com.
