Learn to code after-school.

During the 8-week program, students will build a WordPress website using HTML, CSS, and PHP. The students will be challenged to think critically and solve problems to accomplish their goals.

This is a great program for silly, creative, curious kids who like to make things.

The Schedule:

Weeks 1-3:

We’ll learn:

  • What websites are and how they are used
  • What the internet is and how it works
  • How to identify and steer clear of danger on the internet
  • How to plan their project.

Weeks 4-7

We will:

  • Get acquainted with WordPress and its structure.
  • Practice reading documentation and finding code tutorials.
  • Start learning to tweak HTML, CSS, and PHP to solve creative problems.

Week 8

We’ll present and discuss our results!

After this program, students will have all of the skills needed to learn independently and improve their skills.
